2012 February Break Teen Fitness Camp

TEEN FITNESS CAMP -  Ages 13-16
9:30 am - 1:30 pm - Monday through Friday

Teens  will participate in cardiovascular workouts, fitness games, sports, strength training, special group classes and swim training with certified personal trainers and sports Nutrition specialists. teens work on personal goals such as getting better at sports, firming up and finding out more about health & fitness. participants must be able to swim one lap in the pool, and run continuously for 5 minutes. Caring, honesty, respect and    responsibility  are taught by example. Family & Youth Member: $220; Non-Member $315

Teens - Spend Feb. Break 2011 Getting Fit!



TEEN FITNESS FEBRUARY CAMP - Ages 13-16 - Feb. 21-25

Participants work with Certified Personal Trainers and Sports Nutrition Specialists to achieve individual goals. Activities include swimming, sports, games, strength training, spinning, agility training and much more. Participants must be able to swim one lap in the pool and run continuously for 5 minutes. Get fit and have a great time! Energy snack and periodic assessments included.
9:30am - 1:30 pm - Monday through Friday.

Rye Y Teen Camps

ADVENTURE TRAVEL CAMP
Co-ed/grades 6 - 9 (grade finished) 9am - 4pm
2010 Schedule of Activities
Designed for campers who like to be on the go. Campers travel off-site just about everyday, enjoying the very best of what summer time has to offer. Water parks, baseball games, campouts, amusement parks and lots of swimming, are some of the highlights. Membership required.

TEEN STRENGTH TRAINING CAMP
Co-ed/ages 13-16 - 9:30am-1:30 pm
Campers work indoors and out with Certified Personal Trainers, Physical Education Majors and Sports Nutrition Specialists to achieve fitness goals. Activities include strength training, cardio workouts, swimming, spinning and much more.

COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING PROGRAM
Co-ed/ages 14 & 15
CITs participate in a variety of activities, including group building, positive role modeling, leading activities, problem solving and supervision.Each day, CITs will interact with a group of campers and counseling staff as they go through their daily activities. D.R.E.A.M. Program for Girls - Grades 6-8

Diversity, Right nutrition, Exercise, Activity and Mobility


Over the course of nine weeks,D.R.E.A.M. members will be involved in age appropriate exercises, activities and discussions, promoting healthy habits and attitudes, for better overall health and well
being. Topics will include: balanced nutrition, engaging exercise classes, celebrating diversity, pop culture (and its influence on body image) and general issues facing adolescent females in today’s society.


Friday afternoons, from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
9/18/09 – 11/20/09.
